Ports
Maritime transport is at the heart of global trade and commerce, and maritime infrastructure plays a very important role in facilitating unhindered transportation.
Ports are the pillars of globalization and key components of the international supply chain. However, it would be wrong to assume that they are only meant for cargo handling.
India has an enormous coastline of 7516.6 km, which offers immense scope for the construction of technologically advanced, state-of-the-art maritime infrastructure. According to the Ministry of Shipping, approximately 95% of India’s trading by volume and 70% by value is done through maritime transport.
Hence, as India moves towards becoming a self-reliant nation, ports are going to play a vital role in sustaining the growth of trade and commerce.
At Dhruv Consultancy, we have a team of maritime, geological, and technical experts who have offered innovative solutions in terms of efficient port design, supervision consultancy for construction activities, and recording and certification for the processes therein.
Some of our work includes –
- Provision of technical manpower to create the port design, and supervise and analyze the construction activities for the JNPT Port, Navi Mumbai
- Supervision consultancy for the work of land leveling and construction activities for the dry ports of Wardha and Jalna
In addition, we also plan to play an active role in managing port infrastructure in India and South Asian countries.
